A slot is one helpdesk covered by your plan. If you own more helpdesks than your plan allows, the extras run on Free-plan limits until you cover them.
Choosing which helpdesks consume slots
Open Dashboard → Billing → Helpdesk slots. Toggle coverage on the helpdesks you want covered. The toggle is atomic — concurrent clicks can't both consume the last slot.
Downgrades
When you downgrade, Helpdesky un-covers your oldest helpdesks first until you're back under the new quota. Any articles over the Free limit on uncovered helpdesks get auto-unpublished. Republishing happens automatically the moment you re-cover.
